I'm pleased to announce the $75,000 16th ADA National Championship and the 7th Military Cup Challenge will take place at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. Dates are July 11-12-13-14-15.
Make reservations now!!!
The forty-two acre Wyndham Orlando Resort is a beautiful facility conveniently located on International Drive, the “hub” of Orlando. Keep in mind this in NOT a hotel. It is a resort in the true sense of the word with a total of 1100 rooms located in 16 two-story buildings. Attending members will enjoy three outdoor pools, lagoons and Gatorville a great outdoor pool side lounge. The convention area Championship Rooms are spacious.
The Wyndham has extended a very affordable $86.00 accommodation rate (single/double/triple/quad) for ADA members. To make a reservation or gain immediate information visit the Resort web site. For Orlando entertainment & tourist information visit the Orlando Convention & Visitor's Bureau web site.
The poster, qualification and registration information will be posted to the web site as soon as possible.
Here are a couple of important items to bring to your attention. First & foremost there are designated smoking buildings however the convention area is non-smoking. The outside smoking areas are in close proximity to the Competition & Championship Rooms. The convention area is larger than previous years and the Competition Room & Championship Rooms will be separated.
To reduce the meeting room rental we have increased the one member per team registration requirement to three members per team. These members must book their reservation through the ADA room block. This does not mean each member must book a room. When making your reservation simply indicate to the Resort each member staying in the registered room.
A reminder members must participate in the upcoming American Dart League Spring sessions in order to qualify for this National Championship. Contact your ADA Representative or League Manager for exact starting dates.
In closing relocating the National Championship to other cities has been successful and a welcomed change. The greater Orlando area is a very popular vacation city with many adult and family activities. We believe this change will be a positive one for attending ADA members and their guests.
Continue to visit the ADA web site as we will post National Championship information as it develops.
