The annual “Franchisee of the Year” is a very prestigious award. It is presented to the ADA Representative who, throughout the year, performs outstanding service to the sport of darts.
The ADA is proud to present this year’s award to St. Louis ADA Representative, Bill Dales. Coming from the membership ranks Bill joined the ADA Franchise “family” in the summer of 2004. Since then he has more than tripled his Franchise team count. Over the past year he served as the host Rep for the annual Mid West Regional Championship, assisted in organizing and directing the England vs ADA Telephone Darts Challenge, served on the Cricket Neutralizer Committee and has volunteered as an official at the ADA National Championship.

In order for any business to be successful a careful “balance” must be developed and maintained. Bill has accomplished both by working with the dozens of St. Louis American Dart League host locations while establishing a positive relationship with the two Anheuser-Busch wholesalers and the amusement operators who provide the dart machines in his market.
Glenn Remick, ADA Pres., adds, “The adage, ‘a chain is as strong as its weakest link’, certainly applies to our Franchise operation. We are very proud to have a “strong link” here in the shadows of ADA headquarters. Bill turned around a “damaged” Franchise and thanks to his tireless efforts continues to expand into new locations and increase his team count throughout the greater St. Louis area. This award is well deserved and we are very proud to present it to him.”
