Where in our sport can you compete against Certified Professional’s with no entry fee and walk away with great prizes from the world’s largest brewer of beer and the world’s largest producer of darts? Only one place…the ADA’s Bud Pro Tour.
Held on the last Wednesday of every month the “Tour” is open to all darters, members and non-members alike. Pros are selected by their Franchise Owner and double up taking challenges from competitors who are randomly paired. The game is 501 straight start double out in either English steel tip or Electronic soft tip play. In soft tip the double bull is activated so the fat bull is not the percentage shot.
Upon entering participants receive a Bud gift prize and a raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets are awarded throughout the evening when participants and spectators take advantage of specials provided by host tavern locations. More gift prizes are distributed by random draws to lucky ticket holders. The teams who defeat the Pros qualify and playoff for two grand prizes. So it’s a night of fun yet a very competitive one for all.
The next Bud Pro Tour takes place Wednesday, May 28. Go to the “Upcoming Events” area of the ADA home page for locations and times. Enjoy!

Host location: Flying Pig Roadhouse
Attending ADA Official: Texas ADA Franchisee, Roberta Butler
ADA Steel Tip Professionals: April Stafford (15.4) and Christine Weiman (12.7)
ADA North Dallas Franchise Owner Roberta Butler provides this report:
I’m pleased to report the third Budweiser Pro Tour is growing very fast and continues to be a tremendous success in the North Dallas area. The ‘Flying Pig Roadhouse’ in Denton, just north of Dallas, hosted this 3rd leg of the Pro Shoot.
David Vertz, the club owner, continues as a long time supporter of the ADA in addition to being a member of last years National Express Neutralizer Championship Team. The ‘Flying Pig Roadhouse’ darting facilities are exceptional as all had great fun. April Stafford and Christine Weiman showed what being ADA Pro’s are all about. Both of them tossed great darts with April shooting a 15.6 PPDA and Christine shooting a 13.1 PPDA. They played 16 fierce competitive matches and won 9 overall for 56% win rate. It was a fun night and everyone had tremendous time.

A special thanks goes out to Anheuser-Busch Retail Account manager Monica Jones for her great support at this event. Monica provided AB premium items to all competing darters in attendance including Bud Backpack, Poker Chips, T-shirts, Caps and Visors, Cozies and other great items. The dart players commented that AB really did a ‘bang up’ job in contributing to this exceptional event!!!

.
All are now looking forward to the May Bud Pro Tour to be held at Nick’s Sports City Café in The Colony, TX.
