The Budweiser Pro Tour is back again! Held on the last Wednesday of each month, ADA Pros take on challengers in a doubles game of 501. There is no entry fee with prizes awarded throughout the evening. Even though Pros are involved this event is not geared for the best darters. In fact, quite the opposite as this evening is a lot of fun mixed with great competitive darts.
Starting time is 8:00 PM and participants enter with the ADA management team selecting their partner through a draw doubles format. During the two hours of competition any of the teams that defeat the Pros qualify for the 10:00 PM playoff with two grand prizes awarded at the end. Host locations change each month. Sponsorship of the program comes from the local Anheuser-Busch wholesaler. Unfortunately not all are currently involved in the program so check the “Upcoming Events” section of the ADA home page for the tavern in your market.

Region V ADA Soft Tip Professionals: Paul Schaeffler 26.8 Deb Kornmann 15.5
The last Wednesday was a cold night and a great time to be indoors playing darts. Forty darters turnout for the first Bud Pro Tour held at Ethyl’s Sports Bar in O’Fallon.
Pros Paul Schaeffler and Deb Kornmann competed in 17 doubles challenge matches losing only one! It was a party atmosphere and a great way to start off the first Bud Pro Tour.
A special thanks to Eddie and John, owners of Ethyl’s and to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler Krey Dist. for their cooperation. Thanks also to Unicorn for providing tungsten darts as grand prizes for the winners. We now look forward to February and the second Tour event at All Stars in St. Peters, see you there!

Burlington, VT
Host location: Hooters
Attending ADA Official: League Manager Lorne Langlais
Region I ADA Steel Tip Professionals: Lorne Langlais 20.1 Nelson Snide 19.4
The first Budweiser Tour Challenge in Vermont took place on Wed. Jan.28th at Hooters in South Burlington. The owner Brian Fitzgerald was a very gracious host even participating in the event himself.
Farrell Dist. The Anheuser-Bush wholesaler provided some very nice prizes for the event.
On to the event, after braving the blizzard on Wed. night just to get to Hooters (a 30 min. drive that took 1.5 half hours) ADA Pros Lorne Langlais and Nelson Snide took on anyone and everyone that was in attendance.
In all the Pro’s played 21 doubles matches and finished with a 21 and 0 record not losing a single match all night. Although there were no 180’s thrown there were quite a few 140’s and 100+ scores thrown. The highest out for the night was a 108.
There were numerous prizes given away including Budweiser hats, shirts, and mugs. The grand prize of the night went to Dave and Annie which was a set of Unicorn darts for both of them.
In all the night was a huge success considering that Mother Nature did not cooperate with us causing a little smaller turnout than what was expected? We are looking forward to our next event taking place in Feb.
Greeley, CO
Host location: Barleycorns
Attending ADA Official: ADA Franchisees Rob & Codi Nelson
Region VI ADA Soft Tip Professionals: Tracy Peterson 17.1 Jack Walter 25.4
Located not far from the Rocky Mountains, Greeley sits just north of Denver and is a hot spot for darts. The first Bud Pro Tour took place at Barleycorns a sponsoring location for the American Dart League.
Sixteen darters participated including our Budweiser distributors, Nicole Pittman and Bryan Hamilton from American Eagle. ADA Pros Tracy Peterson and Jack Walter tossed some great darts winning all of the matches! This did not dampen the spirits of the participants as a great time was had by all.
Thanks for Warren and Sharon Woodson owners of Barleycorns & to Manager Nate Woodson for hosting the match.
