Let me just start off by saying how much we appreciate all the support myself, my family & the ADA staff has received from all of you over the past couple of weeks. It was Glenn’s passion of darts that has made what the ADA stands for today. Myself, along with the ADA staff wants to assure you that we are going to move forward with his passion and continue with his dream of making the ADA the best dart league out there!
As many of you know, with the help of his wife, Gloria, Glenn formed The American Darters Association (ADA) in 1990. They took a chance on a dream and moved to St. Louis, Missouri. The ADA was formed so that everyone could play darts in an even level of play and have fun doing so. Now, it can only get better from here!
Sadly, our ADA President Glenn Remick, passed from an extremely rare disease, Amyloidosis, on November 2nd, 2009 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Even with the disease Glenn fought hard and would not back down from anything he put his mind too. Throughout his days at the ADA he made all of his business decisions “Built to Last”. He was able to reach out and touch many lives with his enthusiasm and love for Darts. He will be greatly missed to say the very least.
Though Glenn is off the team roster, the ADA and his teachings are not. The ADA staff will continue to implement his visions for the future of the ADA. We are looking forward to working with all of you to continue the success of the American Dart Leagues. It should be said that there will be some changes. Glenn had many ideas of how to make the ADA bigger and better and we will work towards that vision with all of you. Do not fear, the integrity of the ADA, our great ADA Management Team and the supportive ADA Members around the country will always remain the same.
Thank you for being members, playing in the ADA & the American Dart League!
