With fall season approaching all American Dart Leagues nationwide will notice a new addition to their nightly league play. In their weekly pub packets along with their scoresheets, members will also find another sheet. ADA finalized the Marks Per Round (MPR) Cricket chart and will introduce it to all leagues starting this fall.
For the past three years the ADA home office met with the ADA MPR committee and created a separate “handicap” program for Cricket. Now the members PPDA and Cricket MPR are rolled into one! “We have been working very hard on this project and are very excited about the new edition!” said ADA Vice President, Karl Remick.
Most ADA members already track their MPR on the scoresheets for their cricket games. For the members that do not track these marks it will take some getting used to-but it is necessary. The Cricket MPR Data sheet will be included in the weekly packet for teams that use dart boards/machines that do not figure the MPRs for them. This is a huge step for Steel Tip leagues all over as well! If the MPR is not written down, default numbers will be added in for you and your PPDA will be recalculated.
Thanks to all the ADA Representatives and members who have contributed their time and energy into this project. Cricket MPR Data sheets will express a significant addition to the American Dart League! For more information please contact your ADA League Representative.
Thanks for Playing in the American Dart League.
