Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the new location for our 20th Anniversary 2011 National Championship. It was a weekend quick trip, but it still provided me with enough time to get a feel for the hotel, see the layout for the championship hall and test out a couple of penny slots in the multi gaming casino. The outcome – Palace Station Hotel & Casino is a great match for our ADA members.
If you plan on flying in for the week make sure you take advantage of the hotel’s free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. If the shuttle doesn’t match your schedule with darting events, it’s about a $20 cab ride to the hotel from the airport. The hotel’s shuttles also provides a free pick up and drop off at the Fashion Show mall located on Las Vegas Blvd. Feel like stretching your legs? The hotel is located on Sahara Blvd just one mile to the Las Vegas Blvd.
During the week of the Nationals you’ll never need to leave the hotel with all the restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. Located in the lobby is a Starbucks with seating area for a quick breakfast or snack. Located throughout the building are the following, The Grand Café open 24hrs, Pasta Palace restaurant, Cabo Mexican restaurant and bar, Broiler steak house, Food Express Chinese restaurant, Oyster Bar, Subway, and Jack’s bar for drinks and appetizers . On the second floor you’ll find the all-you-can-eat Feast Buffet and the ADA’s National Championship playing area.
Looking for entertainment before or after the Nationals? Louie Anderson will be performing nightly during the Nationals in his theater located right in the hotel! Jack’s offers music Thursday – Saturday and has sporting events playing on all their TVs throughout the bar. For the families there is a kid friendly arcade on premise and two outdoor pools with hot tubs. You can also find a well equipped exercise room and large bingo hall at Palace Station.
We are really excited to find a location that seems to have it all! Make sure you book your reservations through the ADA home page website link to get the best deal and qualify for the 2011 National Championship. We look forward to seeing all of you August 3rd through the 7th and joining us in celebrating our 20th year of ADA National Championships & Dart Leagues!!!
Don’t miss out on such a fun event! If you’re not an ADA member yet there is still time to join and make plans to attend the 2011 National Championship. Sign up online and come plan to participate in the blind draws & satellite events that are being held throughout the week. Visit www.adadarters.com for more information.
