April Bud Pro Tour
By Tiffany Paschedag, ADA Representative
Amid all of the bad weather in St. Louis, with a tornado striking 5 days earlier we were still able to gather some people for our monthly Bud Pro Tour.
It was held on April 27, at Bottoms Up Brewhouse in O’Fallon. The crowd was small, but they got to throw more, which they enjoyed. Pro, Heather Lechner, threw a 13.5 average while Pro Paul Schaeffler threw a 24.3 average. Paul also racked up a Ton 80 and 4 Hat Tricks throughout the evening.
The Pros were undefeated until the last half hour when they lost 2 matches almost back to back. Overall they won 11 matches and lost only 2.
The final winners of the evening were ADA member Will Waldheuser and newcomer Dylan Roth. Dylan just came out to watch and cheer on his buddies but it didn’t take him much convincing to play once he saw how much fun everyone was having. Hopefully we can get Dylan on a league soon!
Thanks to everyone that came out to this month’s Bud Pro Tour and we’ll see you again next month. As soon as the location is determined we’ll let you know, but be sure to leave May 25th open on your calendar!

April Bud Pro Challenge
By Sarah Coyne, ADA Member Services
Lees Summit, MO – Darters from all over the Kansas City area were welcomed for a chance to beat the American Darters Association (ADA) Professional Darters. This event was not limited to ADA members but open to everyone that wanted a chance to play against the only national dart organization that has certified professional darters.
The event was held at Sorano’s at 419 SW Ward Rd in Lee Summit MO. It’s a good thing there were dart boards were reserved for this event because 14 challengers attended that evening for their chance at prizes and bragging rights of playing against the professional darters. Randy Macha, Mary Lay and Ricardo Porras were the three ADA Pros in attendance for this April BPT.
There was no entry fee for this event and the dart players who participated were entered into a raffle drawing that took place throughout the evening. By entering they had the opportunity to win Budweiser tee-shirts and key chains, $20 gift certificate to Sorano’s bar and the grand cash and Budweiser prize! Thanks to Gino owner of Sorano’s and County Bev for the prizes and giveaways!
It was a great event with a lot of fun and energy throughout each game. The winners of the evening were Michelle Rentz and Gary Clark. Congratulations to both of them for winning! Michelle claimed the grand prize of the collectors Budweiser sign from 1996 that she will proudly show off at her house in their family game room. Gary walked away with all the cash as his prize for winning that evening.

Think you can beat the Pros? Visit us at www.adadarters.com for BPT events throughout the country. Join us for our 20th Anniversary National Championship this August in Las Vegas, NV! $55,000 in prize money will be awarded throughout the week.
