Just when you thought the American Darters Association’s Neutralizer system couldn’t get any better, the Marks Per Round (MPR) system now balances out every game in the American Darters Association (ADA) league formats! Since the beginning of 2011, ADA Representatives across the nation have introduced the ADA’s Marks Per Round recording system to their members. Every single ADA member now has a ’01 average and a MPR Average, combined into one single True Points Per Dart Average in both soft tip and steel tip leagues! This average is displayed in the Schedules and Standings pages (the MPR is included in this PPDA).
MPR refers to ending stats in a game of Cricket. This determines the amount of “lights” or “marks” hit in a Cricket game. You can range anywhere from a 0.0 to a 9.0 in a game of Cricket. The ADA has been keeping track of every single dart thrown in every league match and will continue to do so. Members also write down the total number of rounds the game took to end. All MPR data is loaded into the ADA Representatives DARTERS Computer system. The DARTERS system is specific copyright program that the ADA uses for tracking every dart thrown in the ADA dart leagues. As soon as an ADA Member gets enough games played, their Points Per Dart Average starts to take effect after their ’01 and Cricket results are loaded and averaged out based on their performance every night they play.
“We currently have two separate scoring sheets for the ’01 results and cricket MPR results, but we aim to combine both here shortly”, says ADA Representative Ashley Stallmann. We would like to thank all the ADA Members who tested this formula for us over the past years and who continue to make it perfection. Continue to check the ADA website in the Top Darters section to see how your Cricket matches are influencing your PPDA. Want MPR and the ADA in your area?!
