Hagerstown, Maryland is back on the ADL map! The first week was incredibly successful and we are anxious to see how the rest of the season progresses. This area has taken a break since 2006 but you wouldn’t know that based on their week 1 results. They all returned to try out the new ADA Doubles League. A new member to the area accomplished something that most darters only dream about. Chad Henry hit a Hat Trick, 9-Mark and 180! This is what we call a Trifecta! Congrats to Chad and welcome to the ADA!!
Joe Banzhoff who started the evening joking that he doesn’t deserve his 30 PPDA ended the night with an average of 32 in his ’01 games and his MPR score was around a 4 for his cricket games.
Hagerstown is not only fortunate to have members who wanted to get the league going again but they have extra members in the area that are willing to be substitutes when the regulars can’t play. The ADA encourages having extra members so when something comes up the team does not have to forfeit. The substitute must be a current ADA member.
Thanks to Jeremy Dowler the area’s Division Representative for getting these guys going again! Good luck Jeremy on continuing with your personal goal of 30 handicap.
