Every year following the National Championship, the ADA Representatives from acround the country meet for two days for the Managers Convention. During these two days a review of the championship is discussed, new ideas for the future of the company, how individual areas are doing, and much, much more! At the conclusion of this convention, an ADA Representative is awarded ADA Manager of the Year award. This is a very prestigious award. In order to be eligible, the ADA Rep must meet certain qualifications. It is given to a person that has improved the image and value of the ADA and making it an organization that is built to last.
This year, the manager of the year was awarded to Holly Dye. Holly has been with the ADA for 10 years and is operating in the Wichita Falls Texas area. Holly started her ADA career with the USAF military leagues but now works with all types of members and leagues in her area. All through those 10 years Holly has provided outstanding service to her new and existing members and has continuously increased her team count throughout the years awhile having a positive attitude. She created, trained and maintained an outstanding management team.
Out of all the ADA Representatives, this year Holly brought the most teams to the National Championship in Las Vegas. Within those Wichita Falls members, 9 of them were ADA Pros-including herself! And as long as we are bragging about Holly we should mention that she won ADA Women’s Pro Singles event during the National Championship, among other events.
Within minutes of meeting Holly you are blown away by how organized, respected and serious she is about her role as Wichita Falls ADA Rep. One thing that she does for her members that we find outstanding is she holds fundraisers so that all of her members have the opportunity to attend the National Championships. These fundraisers provide funds for members to get to the Nationals and depending how much they participate, some of their competition events are paid for. I cannot stress how organized Holly is; she has an excel spreadsheet to keep track of all her spreadsheets.
We, at the ADA office are so honored to have Holly as a part of our team. She brings a lot of great ideas to the Managers Convention to share with other Reps and provides her members with the customer service that we expect from our Representatives. Holly, thank you for another great year and looking forward to more to come!
