Let’s Meet in the Middle
By Tiffany Paschedag, ADA Representative

The ADA Pros from two areas in Missouri; South County and St. Charles met in the middle for the September Budweiser Pro Tour for a very successful Pro Shoot!  Pat Bonner & Gary Boyd are the Pros who represented the South County area and the Pros from St. Charles County were Paul Schaeffler & Karl Remick.  The Budweiser Pro Tour Shoot was in Jefferson County Missouri at the Sports Zone.

The bar was packed elbow to elbow with people!  At first, when we walked in, I thought to myself, “Wow—this Pro Shoot is going to be HUGE!” but then I remembered the Cardinals game was on TV.  If you’ve ever been to St. Louis you know that we love our Cards!  Plus, it just wasn’t any Cardinals game—it was the game to get them into the playoffs.

Even though most of the people at Sports Zone were there for the baseball game, we still had a great turnout for the event.  There were 18 people who signed up to play.  Their names were thrown into a bucket for the random draw.  After I pulled the names and formed teams we began the evening.  The great thing about having 4 Pros in attendance was that the players got to play against each of them at some point during the evening.  One match they’d play against Paul & Pat and the next they’d play against Karl & Gary.  Each player got to play numerous times which they mentioned that they really liked,

Even though there was LOTS of yelling, clapping and cheering going around us the Pros still shot well.  Pat threw an 18.4, Karl an 18.6, Paul came in at 20.5, and Gary topped the evening off throwing a 25.4.  Overall the Pros only lost 4 matches!  Congratulations to Jill Cody & Brent Rumley who took home the grand prizes.  It was a very successful evening and we are looking forward to more events like this in the future.  Thanks to everyone who came out and had a great time with us.

Leagues are forming now!   Check www.adadarters.com for upcoming events and American Dart League locations in your area!
