One of our beloved ADA Area “633” Members, Travis Brown, passed away on Saturday March 11th at the age of 41. Travis was currently playing in the Maggie Malone's Doubles In-house Division on Tuesday nights. Those that play in that division are very close knit, not only do they play in the same division together, but they also live in the same neighborhood. Darts just won't be the same without Travis there. Travis played for the ADA for two years, playing league, various events such as the Bud Pro Tours and American Dart League Championships around the area.

On the night of the Tuesday In-house finals, Travis's family came up to Maggie Malone’s to represent not only Travis, but his team, just as if he would have been there to watch and root on his friends. The finals ended up with a 10 – 2 win by Derek Brown & Seth Walker over the 2nd Seed, Dexter Fingers & Ashley Brockman. Unbeknownst to the Brown Family, regardless of who won, the winners were going to award their first place medals to the Brown Family, in honor of our fallen dart member. Travis thoroughly enjoyed playing darts and his darts/past MVP mugs/pins/other dart items were laid out at his service. “I was amazed on how much darts was a part of Travis’s life”, commented Division Rep Erik Cervantes.

When Travis wasn't playing darts you could find him playing his guitar which was one of his favorite pastimes. He enjoyed music by the likes of Slayer, Megadeath, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Metallica. He along with some members from league would go to a few concerts throughout the year. “He was my concert buddy and a great guy; I’ll miss him so much”, mentioned ADA member and longtime friend, Will Waldheuser.
Travis is survived by his mother, brothers Mike and Chris, daughter Shayna, and grandson Shawn.
There will be a Travis Brown’s Celebration of Life Benefit Tournament on Sunday, March 25th at Maggie Malone's at 1:30. For more information on this please contact the ADL Home Office: 636.614.4380 x 1004 or email: Remick633@adadarters.com
