As registration for the 2012 American Darters Association National Championship Series comes to a close it leaves the members with about a month before the events begin. This year we return to Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. Members will find that some of the events have been removed but excitement is around an event that has been added: Team USA vs. Team Spain. This event will take place Saturday July 14th in the ADA Championship hall of Palace Station. Team USA is made up of ADA members from all over the United States that were hand selected based on their scores at qualifier events. It will be an exciting event that you don’t want to miss out on!
If you are interested in darts but are not an ADA member there is still time for you to be a part of this annual event! Prior to the ADA National Championship you can sign up to be ADA members online at www.adadarters.com or pay for your membership at Palace Station in the ADA Championship hall. New members can participate in nightly blind draws that begin Wednesday July 11th – Saturday July 15th.
The ADA National Championship is a great opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones. Members from all over the United States (and now the world with Spain attending) will have the chance to catch up, play and compete with members that they don’t get to see during league play. They swap stories, learn new techniques and have the chance to earn new bragging rights with their winnings of trophies and prize monies.

If you are a current ADA Division Representative make sure you notify your area ADA Representative that you will be attending this year’s National Championship. For all your hard work and dedication throughout the league’s session you get the opportunity to be entered into a drawing for a free hotel room during your stay at the National Championship! The Division Representative will be announced during opening ceremonies on Thursday July 12th.
If this is your first year attending the Nationals at Palace Station there’s no need to rent a car. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. They also offer free shuttle service to and from the famous Las Vegas strip. Bring your swimsuit because Palace Station offers two pools and jacuzzis on site. Something else to bring to Palace Station is your appetite! They offer tons of restaurants, cafes, buffets, snack bars and fine dining all within the building. If your family and/or friends are joining you, Palace Station offers a comedy club, business center, pools, fitness center, game room and live music at Jack’s.
