On Saturday, August 4th St. Charles County Missouri #633’s ADA members that are a part of the Professional Darters Certification Program came out for the Bud Pro Tour at ABC Billiards in O’Fallon, MO. All 5 of #633’s Pros were in attendance; Brian Obrecht, Karl Remick, Paul Schaeffler, Mike Hurwitz and Heather Lechner and they were ready to take on anyone that wanted to play them! We had 16 participants and 4 of them were not current ADA members. They came out to see what the ADA Bud Pro Tour was all about. At ADA Bud Pro Tours the participants are randomly drawn with another person to play against two Pros. Non Pros will continue to be paired up until the time limit for the event is up. Those that beat the Pros at anytime during the evening will play for the grand prize. After 22 games the final scores for the Pros was: 17 wins and 4 losses. Heather threw a 13.9 average, Mike-19.9, Karl-20.2, Paul-21.6 and Brian with a 25.1 average. Great job 633 Pros!
The final winners of the Bud Pro Tour event went to Evan Sicker and Kenny Windser. The evening continued with a blind draw which drew in 24 participants. After a lot of great darts were thrown the final match was between DRs Derek Dressler and Jon Rimert and Pro Paul Schaeffler and Eric. Paul and Eric took home the win after a very close match.
About halfway through the day we got a visit from the ADA’s newest fans, Peyton and Kathleen Obrecht. Pro Brian Obrecht just became a dad and his twins came to cheer on their daddy since ABC Billiards is a smoke free establishment, having them inside wasn’t a problem! As soon as people heard the babies were in attendance the dart room emptied and were found out in the main area checking out the adorable little ones. It won’t be long before Brian has darts in their hands and a dart board close by! The ADA looks forward to having Peyton and Kathleen as members (when they are old enough)!

A big thank you goes to ABC Billiards for hosting the Bud Pro Tour and to Tiffany for being such a great bartender/waitress! ABC Billiards just recently added on a dart room with 5 soft tip boards and 4 steel tip boards with plenty of room for spectators. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be back for future dart events!
