 United States Air Force Clubs Dart League – RAF Mildenhall, England hosted it’s first USAF Clubs Dart League season final on February 5th, 2002 with the Soggy Bottom Boy’s finishing on top in a 5 –3 win over The Bullies. Here is how it all unfolded…
Phil Harris (20.33), Mike Trahan (23.85) and Paul Grasos (16.12) of the Soggy Bottom Boys took to the stage as home team losing only in their first cricket triples, first 501 singles and second cricket doubles. While Ian Bowers (23.85), Eric Smathers (21.47) and Teresa Smathers (14.70), of The Bullies thought they might have the night won after winning the first two events straight away, but came up short in the end.
 Phil Harris of the Soggy Bottom Boys was named the League MVP finishing the season with an overall point per dart average of 16.92. Phil remained in the top two during the whole course of the season.
Teresa Smathers of The Bullies finished on top of the ladies leader board with an 11.0 point per dart average and was named Dart World Member of the Week.
The ADA also hosted their own Member of the Week program through out the season recognizing individual players each week for individual accomplishments and achievements.  They were: week 1- Stephen Volk, week 2- Phil Harris, week 3- Eric Smathers, week 4- Patrick Staples, week 5- Jason Bird, week 6- Michael Trahan, week 7- Mike “Bear” Smith, and week 8-Ian Bowers. Each one of these competitors was awarded a US Air Force Clubs Dart League Member of the Week T-Shirts courtesy of Budweiser and the ADA.
