At long last a major network has committed to darts programming!
Fox Sports Net has committed to televising two hours of Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) programs. The World Darts Championships is comprised of two one-hour shows scheduled to air on Sunday, May 9th and Sunday, May 23rd at 6pm local. ADA President, Glenn Remick, spoke recently with Jeremy Langer, Fox Sports Net Director of National Scheduling, who confirmed this programming information. With over 80 million homes subscribing to Fox Sports Net this is a great opportunity for our sport of darts. Pass the word!
For the exact scheduling time in your area go to www.foxsports.com. Scroll down to "TV Sportlight". Select your region from the "Fox Sports Regions" drop down menu. Next, scroll down to the "TV Schedule" box and at the bottom, to the right of "Full Schedule" select Sunday. Scroll down in this field until you find "World Darts Championship". Most listings are at 6:00 PM.
Enjoy!
