Event News...
St. Louis Senior Olympics

On Sunday, May 30th I had the privilege of being the Darts Event Director for the 25th St. Louis Senior Olympics. What a great program this is!  The Senior Olympics is an annual event organized by local chapters. There are dozens of indoor/outdoor events with seniors grouped in five-year increments. Participants must be a minimum of 50 years old to qualify. Here in St. Louis over 2000 seniors participated.  Hosted by the Jewish Community Center and staffed by hundreds of volunteers gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded.  Medal winners qualify for the State Games who then compete for the National Senior Olympics held every two-years on the odd years.

Playing on electronic soft tip Regent Halex boards, the format was one game of High Score (21 darts/7 turns).  Listed are the medal winners and their points per dart averages:
