AmberBock Challenge Kerriman’s Pub Longwood, FL July 17th 2004
The American Darters Association (ADA) has officially arrived to the Orlando area! Central Florida Representative Matt Henriksen hosted an AmberBock Challenge hosted by Kerriman’s Pub in Longwood on July 17th 2004. The tournament was a huge success with the local soft tip darters and showcased the Express League format. Three-person teams competed in a race to seven points, double elimination. Nine teams including an all female team competed for trophies and $500 in prize money.
Congratulations to the champion’s, Captain Shawn Gladd, Chris Sams, and Stuart Thompson who took home cash & first place trophies. Runner up’s: Captain Keith Switzer, “Detroit” Bob Swanson, and Jimmy Sullivan.
The central area of Florida has a ton of darts players and as a result of this event American Dart League play is scheduled to begin by mid September.
