The ADA’s AmberBock Tournament Series crossed under the famous Arch, headed west to Kansas City.
The “Challenge” took place at Side Pockets, one of five in the KC area. This place is huge! A former supermarket, Side Pockets has 10 Valley dart machines, over 30 pool tables and tons of video games! KC ADA Rep, Cindy Larkins and Side Pockets General Manager, Tom Coleman organized the AmberBock Challenge event.
Held October 19 & 20, the ADA’s Express League Format (race to 5 points) kicked off the competition. After 4 hours of great darts, “Ricardo’s Team” consisting of Ricardo Porras, Perry Hogsten and Will De Priest defeated the “Kim Possible” team of Kim Allen, Terry Wietrick and Carrie Smith. Other honorable mentions were Robert Meier Jr from Kansas City winning Men’s Neutralizer Singles and Shannon Wood from Moberly winning Women’s Neutralizer Singles. Good darts to all!
AmberBock prizes were awarded by random draws throughout the weekend to participating ADA members. Congratulations to members Terry Wietrick and Robert Meier, Jr who won grand prizes: AmberBock backboards. Other prizes included Dart World Darts, Side Pockets T-shirts, Electronic Home Dart Boards, and ADA/AmberBock premium items.
