THE NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY RULES
In addition to all the Game Rules, we certify that our team is in compliance and familiar with the following National Championship Rules:

1. Team League - Neutralizer and Open Format
A. Member Requirements - each team member must comply with the following:
1. All Players must be current ADA card-carrying members;
2. Each member must have at least ten (10) __01 scores.
EXCEPTION: New members (members whose first season is the Spring) may enter with seven (7) __01 scores.
3. Members may enter on only one team.
4. Each member must play at least seven (7) _01 scores in the Spring Season preceding the Championship.

B. Neutralizer Team Requirements
1. A team must have a minimum of four or a maximum of six players. No team can compete with less than 4 members.
2. Teams MUST compete with members on their roster as approved by the ADA. Additions to the approved team roster are not allowed.
3. Each team member must have at least seven (7) __01 scores with that team (a team is defined by the roster not the team name, captain, or home location)
4. Members must enter on the same team they played with during either the Summer, Fall or Spring Season for the League year preceding the Championship;
5. The Team must be in good standing with League Management.
6. Team League format teams will be placed in the Open Format event if they exceed the Opening Roster Rule.
a. Soft-tip - The total of the points per dart averages for the six members on any ADA Electronic Soft-tip League team cannot exceed 114. A team fielding: Five members cannot exceed 95; Four members cannot exceed 76.
b.Steel-tip - The total of the points per dart averages for six members on any ADA English League Team cannot exceed 96. A team fielding: Five members cannot exceed 80; Four members cannot exceed 64.
7. Members must enter with their highest season ending average of the current League year. This includes the previous year's National Championship ending PPDA and any current League calendar year Regional Championship(s) ending PPDA.
8. Only members from Neutralizer® teams may compete in the Neutralizer non-team events (singles, doubles, triples). Members from Open teams (not placed in the Open for exceeding the ORR) can NOT compete in the Neutralizer® events regardless of whether they have a Neutralizer® PPDA from the previous league year.
9. Member Averages - A Member's average may be raised by the standard updating, committee judgment or by ADA Management during Championship play.

C. Open Team Requirements
1. A team must have a minimum of four or a maximum of six players. No team can compete with less than 4 members.
2. Teams MUST compete with members on their roster as approved by the ADA. Additions to the approved team roster are not allowed.
3. The Team must be in good standing with League Management.
4. Eligible members may "construct" a team for the National Championship but must compete in the Open format for ALL events, including Team, Doubles, Singles and Mixed Triples.

D. Advanced Neutralizer Teams
1. Teams from Advanced Neutralizer divisions must play in the Open format for ALL events.

2. Express League Neutralizer and Open Events
A. Member Requirements - each team member must comply with the following:
1. All Players must be current ADA card-carrying members;
2. Each member must have at least ten (10) __01 scores.
EXCEPTION: New members (members whose first season is the Spring) may enter with seven (7) __01 scores.
3. Members may enter on only one team.
4. Each member must play at least seven (7) _01 scores in the Spring Season preceding the Championship.

B. Neutralizer Team Requirements
1. Each team must have 3 members. No team can compete with less than 3 members or "subs".
2. Teams MUST compete with the members on their roster as approved by the ADA. Additions to the approved team roster are not allowed.
3. Each team member must have at least seven (7) __01 scores with that team (a team is defined by the roster not the team name, captain, or home location)
4. Members must enter on the same team they played with during the League year preceding the Championship (June thru May);
5. The Team must be in good standing with League Management.
6. There is no Opening Roster Rule for the Neutralizer Express League teams.
7. Members must enter with their highest season ending average of the current League year. This includes the previous year's National Championship ending PPDA and any current League calendar year Regional Championship(s) ending PPDA.
8. Only members from Neutralizer® teams may compete in the Neutralizer non-team events (singles, doubles, triples). Members from Open teams can NOT compete in the Neutralizer® events regardless of whether they have a Neutralizer® PPDA from the previous league year.
9. Member Averages - A Member's average may be raised by the standard updating, committee judgment or by ADA Management during Championship play.

C. Open Team Requirements
1. Each team must have 3 members. No team can compete with less than 3 members or "subs".
2. Teams MUST compete with the members on their roster as approved by the ADA. Additions to the approved team roster are not allowed.
3. The Team must be in good standing with League Management.
4. Members from Open teams can NOT compete in the Neutralizer® events regardless of whether they have a Neutralizer® PPDA from the previous league year.
5. Eligible members may "construct" a team for the National Championship but must compete n the Open format for ALL events, including Team, Doubles, Singles and Mixed Triples

3. Disqualification
A. The ADA has the option to disqualify any team that has a member(s) whose Championship average is inconsistent with their league average.

B. To preserve the integrity of the National Championship, the ADA reserves the right to disqualify any member and/or team whose certification packet appears to have been altered or contains irregularities that might give that member and/or team unfair advantage; or where fraudulent circumstances of any nature are found to exist; or whose sportsmanship and/or conduct is determined by the ADA to potentially bring discredit upon the league, the National Championship, or the sport.

C. Disqualification will mean forfeiture of all titles, awards, and prize money, as well as possible suspension.

4. Qualifications
A. The ADA Representative will submit to the ADA a Certification Packet for all teams for the National Championship. This certification packet will be their passport to the Championship without which they will not be allowed to compete. This Certification Packet must contain:
1. Each member's Neutralizer average records;
2. A certification statement signed by the ADA Representative;
3. A certification statement signed by the team members.
4. Completed Entry Form and entry fees.
5. Each member's Social Security Number

B. All members will be required to present one form of positive picture identification and their ADA membership card at the National Championship.

5. Skill Level Review
Prior to entry in the National Championship, local League Management and their Skill Level Review Board will review the averages of every player before submitting their entry. This will decrease the chances of being disqualified for entering with an average that is incorrect.

6. Identification
All members must present one form of positive picture identification from their state of residence and their ADA membership card at all Higher Level Tournaments.

7. Championship Dress Code
The dress code for the championship will be appropriately casual.  The Championship Officials will determine any dress code violations.  Any person deemed to be in violation of the dress code will be asked to leave the Championship Room and return in the proper attire.  Individual matches will not be delayed due to dress code violations.
a. Men's proper dress will include dress slacks, designer blue jeans, dress shorts, polos, collared or team shirts, with casual leather or canvas shoes.
b. Women's proper dress will include dress slacks, skirts or dress shorts (mid-thigh or longer), designer blue jeans, designer warm-ups, polos, dress blouses or sweaters, non-collared shirts in good taste or team shirts, casual leather or canvas shoes.

Expect that you will be taped for televised segments of sports news, amateur tournament videos, or you may be professionally photographed at any time during the event.  Be prepared by dressing appropriately.
 

ADDENDUMS
1. Hotel Guest Room
A. Three Members from each team MUST be a registered guest at the Wyndham Hotel and Resorts. They must register their guest room through the ADA room block directly with the Wyndham Hotel and Resorts reservations department. The guest room must be for 3 nights during the ADA Championship.

B. Guest room occupancy will be confirmed with the Wyndham Hotel and Resorts prior to commencing the team event. Teams that do not comply will be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes, privileges, awards, moneys, etc. associated with the National Championship.

C. LOCAL EXCEPTION: Teams with members who reside within 50 mile radius of the Wyndham Hotel and Resorts Orlando, FL are exempt from the guest room requirement.

2. Refunds
Once the ADA National Office has qualified your team entry fees are non-refundable.

3. Social Security Number
Current tax legislation requires the American Darters Association to report any prize money exceeding $599.00. If you or your team members earn $600.00 or more in prize money, an IRS form 1099 Misc. will be forwarded for 2007 tax return.

4. Prize Money
Any and all prize money MUST be collected prior to the conclusion of the Championship. Unclaimed prize money will be not be refunded or forwarded.

5. Team Rosters
All team members listed on the ADA approved National Championship roster MUST compete in the team's first match of the team event. No "subs" are allowed. Team member(s) may be removed from the team roster and MUST be submitted in writing prior to 7:00 PM on Wed. July 11th. NO additions are allowed to the approved team roster. Submitted roster changes to Neutralizer Team League teams will be transferred into the Open Team League format

6. Non-Team Events (Singles, Doubles & Mixed Triples)
Only members that compete in the Team Event (either in Express League, Team League or Military Cup Challenge) are eligible for the Non-Team Events (Singles, Doubles, & Mixed Triples). Members whose team forfeited in the team event or were dropped from their team roster prior to the National Championship are not eligible for non-team events. ALL ADA MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE WED. WARM-UP EVENTS AND FRI. & SAT. DRAW DOUBLES EVENTS.

II. AMERICAN DARTERS ASSOCIATION (ADA) FINAL AUTHORITY
We recognize that the ADA has the absolute and final authority to make all rulings affecting our participation in the ADA National Team Championship, including member ability (i.e., correction of averages) and disqualification.

III. RELEASE OF ADA AND THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SPONSORS
We, being of lawful age and, as inducement for and in consideration of (1) the agreement by American Darters Association, Inc., ("ADA") that I may take part in the National Team Championship (the "Event") and (2) sponsorship of the Event, hereby covenant and agree that ADA and all other sponsors and their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively "Releasee") shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries, and/or damage to property that I may sustain in any way which result from or arise out of my preparation for any participation in the Event.

I hereby fully and forever release and discharge and covenant not to sue Releasee from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, whether the same be known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of my preparation for or participation in the Event.

I acknowledge and agree that preparation for and participation in the Event are dangerous and involve the risk of serious personal injury and/or damage to property, and I hereby assume full responsibility for and risk of such personal injury and damage to property. I warrant that I am in good health and have no physical condition that would prevent me from participating in the Event. I further agree for myself, my successors, heirs, assigns, executors and administrators to indemnify and hold Releasee harmless from and against all claims and suits for personal injuries, including death, and damage to property, real or personal, caused by my act or omission and arising out of my involvement in the Event, and from all judgments and costs recovered in said claims and suits and from all expressed incurred in defending said claims or suits.

This Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and if any portion is held invalid, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. This Release shall be binding on my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.

IV.  RECORDING AND REPRODUCTION
We consent to the taping (audio and video) and/or photographing of our participation in the ADA National Team Championship and grant ADA and any sponsor, the right to use and reproduce our names, voices and likenesses and any and all photographs and video reproductions taken or made for any purpose whatsoever. We each release ADA and any sponsor, their employees, agents, successors and assigns from any liability whatsoever for such use and reproduction of our names, voices and likenesses. We agree that the photographs, videos, and sound tracks taken or made of any of us are the exclusive property of ADA and/or any sponsor, and we each waive any right of inspection or review.
