Annual ADA D.A.T.S Challenge vs England POSTPONED
ADA Members,
A note from our ADA President Gloria Remick:
As you are aware from Karl’s email of October 30th, 2025, our long-running Darts Across The Sea for the first time in our ADA history have been cancelled.
We, Karl and Gloria ADA Home Office and Curtis Seldon, Nita Palmer & Eric Palmer ADA Hosting Representatives had a conversation about this coming weekend. Wanita & Eric told us of conversations they had with their local members knowing that the ADA members traveling from other states were not making this trip since the Main Event was cancelled by the England Team due to the England’s Team Captain Jamie Elliott playing in the ADC (Amateur Darts Circuit) National’s Finals for 2025.
The ADA Members in #275 said they were understanding of our reason for cancellation, and to not plan any other fun events for this weekend but look forward to playing next year as the USA ADA Team.
As mentioned in the Oct. 30th email, Team shirts are still being handed out for the #275 members, and the Luck of the Draw is also scheduled to played as usual at the Hang Out Bar and Grill.
For other USA ADA Team members, your shirts will ship to your local ADA Representative once we receive them at the Home Office. A notification email will be sent out. Thank you to ADA Reps Andrew Webber, John Cooke and Tony Reigle for hosting and holding qualifiers in their areas.
We all want to thank you all for your understanding and patience as we tried to figure out the best way to handle this first-time cancellation.
All of us wish Jamie, and some of the team attending, the best darts ever and will cheer him on with the other Team England members that are attending in Aylesbury, England at the ADC Finals Event.
A message has been sent to Jamie for the stream and how we can follow him/them on their journey through the bracket.
