As you are aware\, Karl and I have been in constant discussions about having this 29th National Championship (NC) with our contact at the Sheraton / Marriott Bonvoy\, the Explore St. Louis group and keeping up with the guidelines from the City of St. Louis. An event that we started planning two years ago. \n\n\n \n\n\nLast Friday (May 22nd) we sent out an email to all of you\, our ADA Reps\, for feedback on what you and your members in your perspective areas thought about participating in a modified no frill’s NC. The responses were all appreciated\, thank you to everyone that took the time to do so. We value your time & opinions. \n\n\n \n\n\nCompiling all the information from everyone and with the unchanged restrictions from the Hotel and City of St. Louis as of today May 28th we have decided to make this difficult decision that it is not in the best interest for our ADA Reps\, the members\, partners and staff to be traveling to our event here in Saint Louis and gathering in a ballroom together due to the COVID-19 pandemic even with modifications. While it may seem like it’s beginning to slowly get under control in a few parts of the US and could change within the next six weeks\, as of this date\, sadly we’re still in phase one here in Saint Louis\, there is talk that it’s still fluid here and it’s for all of those reasons mentioned that we want to protect all of our darting families. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe thank you for your patience and tremendous support while we were hopeful in having this event. If you booked rooms in the ADA room block at the Marriott Bonvoy/Sheraton Chalet at Westport your rooms will automatically be cancelled. You do not need to do anything. If you booked outside of the ADA room block you will need to call and cancel your reservation yourself. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe will continue to offer support and communicate with you as your part of the Country reopens with ADL leagues and online play. We want you to also know that we will work harder and longer hours to make next year’s ADA National Championship #30 years in business out in Las Vegas in July 2021\, a celebration you will not want to miss. \n\n\n \n\n\nStay safe & keep healthy.” \n\n\nRespectfully\, \n\n\n \n\n\nGloria J. Remick\n\n\nADA President\n\n  \n2020 Notables:\n1. You must Pre-Register your Thursday Team Event and Friday Singles (for the possible chance of being seeded for the Friday Singles event).\n2. Brackets will be Pre-drawn before for all events Thursday – Sunday. Exceptions: Open Blind Draw Doubles.  Registration for Blind Draw Doubles will close at 6 pm.\n3. No more Coin Drop for Soft Tip Play.  Green Fees = (GF) will be added to all Soft Tip event entries.  No GF will be added to Steel Tip Events. No GF for Youth Events or Professional Soft Tip Events. \n4. The Radikal Timer and shot clock will be utilized for all matches.  Steel Tip will be using the a 10- minute stamped timer.\n5. Team pictures will be taken after 12 pm on Wednesday and after 8:30 am Thursday morning in the Ballroom.\n6. For Onsite Registration\, an extra $10 fee will be added per event.\n7.  Registration closes for Wednesday’s Pro Singles at Noon/Warm Up Singles closes at 4 pm.  Extra on site fee of $10 is added to each event.\n8. Two lucky ADA Member’s will get the chance to be streamed from their own homes for cash prizes! \nHow it works\, you will contact your opponent and reserve your own time slot based on availability below.\nYou will also have to select your format to let the USA Darts Production team know what to set up on their stream. \nSteel Tip Example Match Link \nThe challenge can either be soft tip or steel tip.  Again you will have to pick that below inside the reservation tickets.\nDue to the number of ADA Members Nationwide you can only be streamed once per week.  Once the office is notified your match will be promoted on Social Media per ADA & USA Darts Production. \nYou must be a current paid 2020 ADA Member and in good standing to be streamed. \n  \n \nFormats and Rules: \n1. 1. You must be a 2020 ADA Member in good standing to participate. This includes local ADL management and the ADA Home Office. Only Members with a Neutralizer PPDA in DARTERS software can qualify to enter into the Neutralizer 301 category. To review your Neutralizer average in your member profile\, click here\n2. Members will play a race t0 11 games in the format chosen. \n3. As our nation is currently impacted by the pandemic\, so many host locations in our communities have temporarily closed.  That doesn’t mean we can’t offer a little friendly\, weekly competition to have fun and stay active! \nWhether you prefer Soft Tip or Steel Tip darts\, Open or Neutralizer format\, there are different events to choose in both dart types. You may only enter into one event per week. Events & format containers listed below. \n301 (Neutralizer) Open In/Open Out Full Bull \n501 (Open) Open In/Double Out Split Bull \nCricket (Open)  \nEvent Containers will consist of the first 10 paid ADA Members to sign up per the format/event chosen. See below \n  \n  \n  \nFormats and Rules: \n1. 1. You must be a 2020 ADA Member in good standing to participate. This includes local ADL management and the ADA Home Office. Only Members with a Neutralizer PPDA in DARTERS software can qualify to enter into the Neutralizer 301 category. To review your Neutralizer average in your member profile\, click here\n2. Members will play a total of 9 games in the format chosen. The best 5 games of those 9 will be averaged out and act as your PPDA for that week’s competition. \n3. All matches must be recorded and results turned in.  Any matches with missing information will NOT be counted for that ranking that week.  All matches must be VIDEO RECORDED with an unobstructed view of the board surface. Any intentional mis-marking or cheating will be disqualified. ALL GAMES WILL BE REVIEWED.\n5. Per the format/event chosen\, each format cost $7.00 to enter.\n6. If there are less than 10 member’s in any bracket\, the competition will still happen but the payouts will be modified.\n7. You must keep track with the ADA Board Ranking Score sheet below (excel format); turn that in to scoresheets@adadarters.com and upload your video recorded matches to one of the ADA Dropbox Links below. \nSchedule and Payouts: \n1. The Ranking Competition will start on Wednesday’s at Noon CST and will end Sunday night at Midnight. Member’s must have their excel stats and video’s in by 8am CST Monday morning for review by the Home Office.  Any score sheet and/or video sent in after this time will not count for ranking.\n2. Each Event will be ran through the Radikal system and be on “Continuous Play”. The Radikal Timer will be on for all matches: 10 Minutes to report to your board/7 minutes time out.  Tournament Staff will be watching brackets at all times.  Its your responsibility to be at your board and signed in before the timer runs out.\nTIP: Sign in before your clock is down to 2 minutes.\n4. On Friday\, Registration for each event closes 30 minutes prior to official start time. Blind Draw closes at 7pm.\n5. Per Southland Park’s new age rule.  NO ONE UNDER 21 allowed in the casino\, venue\, or Dart Hall. Check out the rules and regulations below.  For additional questions and comments contact Rob: rdavis@adadarters.com \n  \n  \n  \n  \n2020 BAR WARS  \n+ Four player teams must have at least one female player \n+ Max cap of 14 MPR per team for the Open Level 1\n+ Max cap of 10 MPR per team for the Neutralizer Level 2 \n+ All Members must have a Radikal ID and Radikal Rating in cricket and 501\n+All players must have a current ADA membership \n+ $100 entry fee per team \n+ $25 sponsor fee per team per location (collecting by the team captain)  \n+ Race to 5 each match in the winner’s bracket\n+ Race to 3 each match in the loser’s bracket\n+ Race to 7 in the finals \n+ Payout will be the top 3 place\, 1st place 50%\, 2nd place 30%\, 3rd place 20% in each level \n+ Sign-in Timer will be 7 minutes and SHOT CLOCK will be on and set to 45 seconds \n+ Due to time constraints only one team per board will be allowed \n+ Winning team will have a trophy to display until next Bar Wars Tournament \n+ Team holding tournament trophy will be responsible for shipping trophy to the next winning bar (ADA Bar Wars will reimburse payment for shipping)  \n+ After four quarterly tournaments have been played the winning teams from the previous 4 tournaments will play for the cup and the winning team will be declared the Bars Wars Champion for that year\, receive the cup and retire it at their location \n+ After cup is retired\, we will have ADA Nationwide Bar Wars 2021 \nSee you on the boards!
