As you are aware\, Karl and I have been in constant discussions about having this 29th National Championship (NC) with our contact at the Sheraton / Marriott Bonvoy\, the Explore St. Louis group and keeping up with the guidelines from the City of St. Louis. An event that we started planning two years ago. \n\n\n \n\n\nLast Friday (May 22nd) we sent out an email to all of you\, our ADA Reps\, for feedback on what you and your members in your perspective areas thought about participating in a modified no frill’s NC. The responses were all appreciated\, thank you to everyone that took the time to do so. We value your time & opinions. \n\n\n \n\n\nCompiling all the information from everyone and with the unchanged restrictions from the Hotel and City of St. Louis as of today May 28th we have decided to make this difficult decision that it is not in the best interest for our ADA Reps\, the members\, partners and staff to be traveling to our event here in Saint Louis and gathering in a ballroom together due to the COVID-19 pandemic even with modifications. While it may seem like it’s beginning to slowly get under control in a few parts of the US and could change within the next six weeks\, as of this date\, sadly we’re still in phase one here in Saint Louis\, there is talk that it’s still fluid here and it’s for all of those reasons mentioned that we want to protect all of our darting families. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe thank you for your patience and tremendous support while we were hopeful in having this event. If you booked rooms in the ADA room block at the Marriott Bonvoy/Sheraton Chalet at Westport your rooms will automatically be cancelled. You do not need to do anything. If you booked outside of the ADA room block you will need to call and cancel your reservation yourself. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe will continue to offer support and communicate with you as your part of the Country reopens with ADL leagues and online play. We want you to also know that we will work harder and longer hours to make next year’s ADA National Championship #30 years in business out in Las Vegas in July 2021\, a celebration you will not want to miss. \n\n\n \n\n\nStay safe & keep healthy.” \n\n\nRespectfully\, \n\n\n \n\n\nGloria J. Remick\n\n\nADA President\n\n  \n2020 Notables:\n1. You must Pre-Register your Thursday Team Event and Friday Singles (for the possible chance of being seeded for the Friday Singles event).\n2. Brackets will be Pre-drawn before for all events Thursday – Sunday. Exceptions: Open Blind Draw Doubles.  Registration for Blind Draw Doubles will close at 6 pm.\n3. No more Coin Drop for Soft Tip Play.  Green Fees = (GF) will be added to all Soft Tip event entries.  No GF will be added to Steel Tip Events. No GF for Youth Events or Professional Soft Tip Events. \n4. The Radikal Timer and shot clock will be utilized for all matches.  Steel Tip will be using the a 10- minute stamped timer.\n5. Team pictures will be taken after 12 pm on Wednesday and after 8:30 am Thursday morning in the Ballroom.\n6. For Onsite Registration\, an extra $10 fee will be added per event.\n7.  Registration closes for Wednesday’s Pro Singles at Noon/Warm Up Singles closes at 4 pm.  Extra on site fee of $10 is added to each event.\n8.
