ADA Member Wins in Deaf Dart Events!

 

The ADA Home Office would like to congratulate ADA Member Mike Beregvin on his recent dart travels to attend a Deaf Dart Tournament!

Mike is a current and long time member of ADA Area 763.   “He is one of our best shooters,” states Local and Home Office ADA Rep Holly Dye.  “He always has a smile on his face on and off the board,” she adds.

Overcoming the challenge of being deaf, he has excelled at the sport of Darts!  He has attended many “all deaf” tournaments in the past has won various events throughout his career.  Along with attending these events, he has also been to a handful of the ADA’s Regional and National Championship Series.

This past month Mike traveled to the ADA Home Office’s city of St Louis Mo to compete in the GSLAD (Greater St Louis Association Deaf Club) which was held on April 12th.  We are proud to say he took 1st in the following:

301 Singles
501 Doubles
Cricket Doubles 

Congratulation Mike on all your darting success and we look forward to seeing you at ADA Nationals this coming July!
